Instructions for school business managers and finance officers to set up school staff so that they can access 'Groups' AKA School Forums.
Also attached is a guide to access the resources section on SLA Online (page 2 of guide to accessing forums)
Upgrades to SLA Online
Frontline Data, our software development partners, have recently made some changes to SLA Online, these are particularly visible in the Training area. Very soon we will be making further changes which will affect all users. Ahead of this I will provide a guide showing what the changes are, how they affect your school/service, and any changes to your responsibilities. To help users with these changes, Frontline Data have also published several more "How to.." guides in the Knowledge Base. This is a really good place to find out more about SLA Online and its potential. To access the Knowledge Base, click on the question mark at the top right hand corner of the screen.
Whole Schoool Safegaurding Policy

Education Safeguarding has its own section within the new Medway Safeguarding Children Partnership website, here you will find the audit, policy and further useful resources for your provision. Please see link below:
Thank you for your continued support.
Holiday Trial Feedback - From Education Partners
We wanted to take this opportunity to say a HUGE thank you for your contribution throughout the summer holiday period to MASH requests. We had 80% of schools in Medway agree to be contacted over the summer break and even though you were on your holidays we had a good standard of information provided to us in a timely way which was able to be used to make informed decisions on children and their families.
We were very grateful to those professionals who were able to link up with other colleagues who were not near a laptop and/or communicate the information over the phone, we had phone calls from Cornwall to Corfu and this really shows how dedicated school professionals are in Medway.
In regards to the contacts I collated for the summer holiday period this was with the view of my role within the MASH. Therefore schools shared personal contact details with me with the understanding these would be used for MASH purposes as opposed for all other social care functions.
Therefore over this period school holiday contact details provided to me were not shared with wider social care teams, as this had not been agreed with schools and I felt it would be unfair of me to share that level of information without prior arrangements and agreements.
As you know this process of holiday contacts and information sharing was a trial, from our perspective it worked well and we would like to collate schools views on the systems and also hear how it worked for you.
